It is nealy October now in Nottingham. The weather is becoming cooler and cooler day by day. This time, I would like to?mention my school life emphasize maily?on discussing my colleagues.
Nottingham Business school comprises of PhD, MBA, MA and undergraduate. I belong to MBA and the total number of students account for?more than?100.?30% of them are from?Britain.?Chinese related students comprise another 30 %. The third major forces are India, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Japan. The number of which accounted for approx. 3-5 students. Minorities are shown as follows. Cyprus, Chile, Oman, Denmark, Mexico, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Malaysia etc. Compared to Japanese universities, the ratio of international students are diversified. As you know, the major foreingn students in Japan are regarded as Chinese related.
Everyone has at least 3 years of working experience after their?undergraduate degree. Their occupations are varied. I assume there are many students who have financial related experience. With regard to age structure, average age is about 30-32. Whereas other master's course is between 23-27. Concerning MBA, age varied from 23 to 61. As for youngest student, the student?had obtained?her first degree inThailand when she was 20. Which?indicate she skipped two school years. Most of South East Asian student skipped either one or two years. It is quite normal for them to skip their grade.?However, I don't agree on that point of view.
There are considerable number of Chinese students in any course. The reason for them to study in the overseas arised from two, born in rich families or obtained financial support by the goverment.?I could find the latter students to be extremely intelligent. Since there is no doubt that Chinese business will have a bright?future.?
